Assistant Accountant

T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a long established and highly successful manufacturing group that has annual turnover in excess of £10m. The ideal candidate will be studying or completed AAT and looking to further their qualifications, ideally CIMA.  Support will be provided by the company.

As Assistant Accountant, key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare, produce, analyse, and report on accounts with ‘day to day’ transaction processing
• Balance sheet reconciliations and monthly analysis accounts
• KPI reporting for allotted KPIs
• Analyses of company credit cards expenditure
• Prepare VAT returns
• Provide ‘business partnering’ to the operational managers

To be successful Accountant you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Ideally AAT qualified and progressing towards CIMA / ACCA
• Articulate, inquisitive and commercially astute
• Team player, able to work on own initiative
• Good standard of education
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• IT literate with systems experience and good Excel skills
