T2M Resourcing are recruiting a finance Commercial Analyst for a market leading private sector national healthcare service provider. This newly created role will report to the Head of Finance and provides a great opportunity to add significant value by providing commercial finance support analysis and financial modelling for contract bid.
What will you be doing?
As Commercial Analyst your remit will include:
- Providing extensive financial analysis to provide business insight and support commercial decision making.
- Supporting the preparation of financial bids for existing contract renewal and new business tenders.
- Undertaking contract profitability reviews and supporting regional finance managers and management teams.
- Assisting with business planning and forecasting.
- Developing financial performance dashboards and KPI presentations.
- Undertaking ad-hoc finance projects.
- Providing Finance Manager cover for the regional business as required.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A qualified, part-qualified or ‘QBE’ accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail and able to produce insightful business information.
- Great Excel skills (Pivot tables and V look ups) who can manage large volumes of data from multiple sources and then create and deliver reports.
- Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Great communications skills – able to explain financial information to non-finance staff.
- Able to meet deadlines and happy to undertake a role that will involve a degree of ‘ad-hoc’ projects and business support.
- Ideally you will have prior experience of preparing bids/ tenders.
