T2M resourcing are recruiting a Commercial Manager on behalf of a highly successful privately owned group that provides a diverse range of B2B services.

Commercial Manager
(Midlands/ Hybrid)

This is a key appointment at a time of continued growth and requires an experienced senior manager that has experience of contract pricing, performance review and sub-contractor supply chain relationship management.

What will you be doing?

This broad ranging role will include the following:

  • Development of pricing strategies and commercial processes that will ensure competitive and profitable contracts that meet all stakeholder requirements.
  • Monthly commercial contracts review and reporting to operational leadership teams and customers.
  • Provision of high quality business information and analysis.
  • Working closely with supply chain partners / sub contractors to ensure transparency of financial performance and operational excellence in service delivery.
  • Management of commercial implications and resolution of contract performance issues.
  • Work as a key contributor within the leadership team to drive business planning and strategy.
  • Building trust and long term beneficial relationships across group divisions, clients and suppliers.
What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role we seek a candidate with the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • A successful career track record to date within a commercial B2B role. You background may be financial / accounting, Quantity Surveying or in operational management.
  • Must have experience of contract delivery within a multiple contract environment, ideally with recurring annual contract values of £2m to £10m+.
  • Experienced in creating robust pricing strategies and bid support to enable commercial competitive and profitable contracts.
  • Excellent problem solving skills based on analytical and pragmatic solution resolution techniques.
  • Great stakeholder relationship management skills with strong communication, presentation and influencing capability.
  • Agile and adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Used to working in a hybrid culture / environment and willing to travel (UK) as required.
  • Strong IT skills.

The role will be ‘based from home’ but with travel as required so expect to be ‘out and about and visible’ about 2 days per week or as business needs require.
