T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a market leading company who have an opportunity for a Credit & Finance Risk Specialist. As Credit & Finance Risk Specialist you will be part of a successful team and be pivotal in the daily operational and regulatory risk within the business.

  • 12mth Fixed Term Contract
  • Hybrid Role
  • Salary £32,000 + £5000 Bonus, after 3 months

As Credit & Finance Risk Specialist key responsibilities include the following:

  • Daily operational management of the incoming and ongoing business requests in relation to risk activities
  • Oversee all new accounts where Credit Applications are received and carry out the required credit checks
  • Process credit increase requests carrying out required due diligence
  • Ongoing credit reviews to ensure credit limits are set at the appropriate levels
  • Manage the payment plans within the Credit and Risk department
  • Manage the daily/monthly reporting checks in relation to accounts over their credit limit/temporary credit limits and credit limit reviews
  • Assist with all complaints and claims ensuring all actions are being carried out by the relevant parties
  • Carry out monthly audits on the trading and non-trading database to ensure account status and limits are set correctly
  • Produce reports on a monthly basis for review in the relevant areas
  • Provide guidance to the Credit Control team regarding risk profiling
  • Day to day support of the customer order and fulfilment process,

To be successful as Credit & Finance Risk Specialist you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Experienced in Credit & Risk Management
  • Experience of working in a busy environment, to targets and within timescales
  • This role will interact with senior leaders within the organisation and as Credit & Finance Risk Specialist you will be robust, credible, possess a strong intellect and demonstrate sound technical knowledge
  • Good understanding of credit checking requirements and Company accounts
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Analytical skills and a good eye for detail
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people
  • Commercial awareness
  • Able to deal appropriately and maturely with difficult situations
  • The ability to work within a team and be self-motivated
  • Must have strong problem-solving skills
