Electrical Engineer

T2M are currently working alongside one of the UKs market leading renewable energy system specialists, who design, supply, install and maintain renewable energy systems throughout the UK, to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing team of field engineers.

As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for the installation and testing of all electrical works for renewable energy systems, principally heat-pump and Solar PV systems.

As an Electrical Engineer, key responsibilities and duties include:

• To install and test all electrical works for renewable energy systems.
• To help with controls set up and commissioning of systems.
• Fault find and repair renewable energy systems.
• To service and maintain renewable energy systems.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and working to company policies.
• To highlight areas for team improvement, implementing training to encourage development and promotion from within.

As an Electrical Engineer, the following skills and experience are desired:

• Trained and qualified in BS 7671 18^th
• Experienced in installing, testing and producing test results according to UK wiring regulations.
• Experience working with heating system controls.
• Previous knowledge of heat pumps and PV systems desirable.
• Hold a valid ECS Gold card for electrical installation work.
• Ability to show initiative in your work and have the discipline to follow designs and apply the regulations.
• A full clean UK Driving License.

Predominantly working in a range of country houses and high-end commercial settings around Cirencester, the successful candidate will need to be flexibility to travel to client sites around the UK with a willingness to stay away as and when required.

There is a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, alongside a company van and tools as well as the opportunity for plenty of overtime, offering a fantastic earning potential.
