Finance Manager

T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a long established and highly successful manufacturing group that has annual turnover in excess of £150million.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this is a newly created Finance Manager role due to growth and expansion. As Finance Manager, you will have a multifaceted role, managing a transactional finance team of 7 plus responsibility for the financial reporting for some of the subsidiary businesses. You will also lead finance related projects around process improvements and be involved in other business objectives related projects which contribute to the Group’s environmental objective to meet ‘Net Zero’.

As Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a small team of 7 within the finance shared service function, covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and cash / banking functions.
• Drive process improvement, change and transformation relating to automation, creating internal SLAs across the main UK business and supported subsidiaries through transactional processes.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of project reporting in a regulatory capacity with regards to financial status related to business objectives, targets, and achievements.
• Responsible for the financial reporting and process improvement / best practice alignment with some of the group’s smaller operating businesses and future acquisition integration.

• Ideally a qualified accountant; CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
• Ideally educated to degree level, but as a minimum “A” level qualification.
• Previous experience in a varied role managing a finance transactional team including project accounting.
• The ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
• Proactive approach – this is a role that will develop so be prepared to make a positive difference.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with staff at all levels.

This role is on site 5 days per week and may require minimal travel to other locations within the group.
