T2M resourcing are recruiting this newly created Head of Finance Transformation role for an international professional services company that is growing fast and backed by private equity investment. This is a really exciting period of change and opportunity for the business to drive finance shared services integration for acquired entities and traditional operating company finance models.

This permanent role presents a great career development opportunity for an aspiring Head of Finance Transformation. You will  be reporting to the Group Finance Director and working closely with the Business Transformation Director and finance function leaders.

What will you be doing?

As Head of Finance Transformation, your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • To lead the transition of key finance processes into a Finance Shared Services function in line with the group target operating model. This will include UK and International operations.
  • Working closely with finance function heads to drive process improvements and transform  the culture to a continuous improvement customer focused approach.
  • To integrate acquired business finance functions into the SSC model with a 90 day transition target.
  • Implement a new business Finance SSC Service Level Agreement with appropriate KPI’s to improve efficiency and transparency of performance.
  • To work with the current 3rd party outsourced ‘transaction processing’ provider to improve performance and potentially re-integrate these transaction functions back to an ‘in-house’ model.
  • Work with the IT team to identify opportunities for systems improvements.
  • Ensure that all finance processes are ‘fit for purpose’ and compliant in internal and external requirements & governance.
What are we looking for?

To be successful as Head of Finance Transformation, we seek a candidates with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Experience of driving change and transformation in a Finance Shared Services environment of a large (ideally international) company.
  • Proven ability of change management – improving processes and procedures that are fit for purpose and scalable.
  • Able to demonstrate successful process improvement examples.
  • Great communication and senior level stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Able to plan and deliver ‘on time’ – you need to be strategic but also a ‘starter-finisher’ – able to lead and be ‘hands-on’ as required.
  • A background in accountancy and shared services is essential –  a formal accountancy qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • Able to work remotely BUT will to travel to London for regular meetings.
