T2M Resourcing have been appointed to recruit a Head of HR – EMEA for an international (US owned) manufacturing group.
The company is on an exciting growth journey with several recent and further planned acquisitions. This is a great opportunity to join the leadership teams across the UK & European entities to deliver HR strategy, support and projects.
Leading a team of HR generalists in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and also in an advisory capacity to operations in Asia, your remit will include the following:
- To Business Partner with the site and group leadership teams to develop and deliver HR strategy that will support the group in meeting its’ objectives.
- Working with the group and local leadership teams to drive change management programs including M&A integration, organisational development and championing the company culture and values.
- To lead the local / site HR team to ensure that the operating businesses are fully compliant with local employment law and regulations whilst also being aligned to the overall group policies and procedures.
- Accountable for the overall Talent Acquisition and Management strategy, providing clear direction to ensure high quality recruitment, onboarding, talent development, succession planning and retention programs are in place and effective
- To develop the group’s Performance Management and appraisal procedures
- Ensure a positive and impactive Employee Relations service is delivered across the region
- Responsible for maintaining and developing a Compensation and Benefits process that ensures that the company remains competitive and compliant to employee regulations at local / country level
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate great HR generalist skills, an operational focus and the ability to create and deliver HR strategy in an international and diverse business. Key skills and attributes required include:
- Experience of delivering exceptional HR services at leadership level across a multi-site manufacturing business.
- Expertise in creating and executing HR strategy that aligns to group goals and meets local level objectives.
- Passionate about driving a positive ‘one company’ culture across a diverse multi-site and ever growing business.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills – able to lead and inspire your direct reports and foster a cohesive and collaborate working culture across the group.
- Proficient in the use of HR Information Systems and other software.
- Strong focus and adherence to employment legislation and compliance.
- A graduate in HR / CIPD or equivalent with a strong track record of career advancement.
- Willing to travel on an international basis and fully fluent in English.
This is a hybrid role that will require a strong on-site presence and will require regular travel. Ideally you will be located with easy access to an airport. The role will ideally be based either in the UK or the Netherlands but we will also consider candidates based in Germany.
Candidates must have multi-site manufacturing experience (ideally international) and be prepared to travel.
