Inventory Accountant

T2M Resourcing are recruiting an Inventory Accountant for a successful international group. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a company that has gone from strength to strength, producing a huge range of products and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires 3 days a week working in the office.

As Inventory Accountant, key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver accurate and timely consolidated accounts.
• Update standard costing within the business and assess stock provisions.
• Oversee the submission of statutory and compliance returns including tax.
• Ensure the external audit is well managed and act as the key point of contact for the External Auditors.
• Produce and review all assigned balance sheet accounts.
• Work with the Financial Controller to drive improvements within Accounting processes.
• Stock accounting – carry out stock valuation & bill of materials.

To be successful as Inventory Accountant, we are seeking the following:

• Experience in a similar Inventory/Stock Accountant role within a commercial business (ideally manufacturing/ distribution).
• A qualified Accountant ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or equivalent (QBE will also be considered).
• Experience in stock and inventory accounting, bill of materials and costing is required.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, which adapt appropriately to different environments and stakeholders.
• Comfortable prioritising actions and multitasking effectively.
