This is a great opportunity to join a progressive B2B service provider as Junior Finance Business Partner.  This is a newly created role due to growth and expansion. Working as part of a small team you will be a key player in supporting all commercial and operational finance matters for a £60million contract.

What will you be doing?

As Junior Finance Business Partner your remit will include the following responsibilities:

  • Create financial models using Excel and Power BI to reduce the time taken to transform large amounts of data into information that will influence the direction that the operational team move in.
  • To lead the production of weekly and monthly reports and introduce new reports that add value to the business.
  • To assist in the financial appraisal of the Operational activities of the contract to ensure that operational performance issues are brought to the attention of the SFBP and Operations Team responsible for the sectors.
  • Support in the preparation of the management accounts and liaise with Central Finance and Operations to ensure accuracy of the financial statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance reports for the contract ensuring that both Regional and Group deadlines are adhered to.
  • Preparation of the billing support documents and raise the invoices in the SAP system in line with contract deadlines.
What are we looking for?

To be successful as Junior Finance Business Partner, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • CIMA/ACCA part qualified.
  • Experience of preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Management Accounts.
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting.
  • Experienced user of Excel essential.
  • Experience of building relationships based on consistent delivery and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Pro-active approach to implementation of sustainable process improvements.
  • Ability to interpret numbers and communicate key issues in a concise and clear manner.
  • Excellent organisation and presentation skills.
  • Possessing a high level of attention to detail, but commercially focussed.
  • Excellent communications skills and customer service orientation
