T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Management Accountant for a successful multi-entity business services company. As Management Accountant and working as part of a team you will ensure that all reporting, month end accounting, forecasting and budgeting is completed in an accurate and timely manner. Along with management of WIP and all other financial processes, and reporting key information such as client level P&Ls to operations and contract managers and providing commentary and analysis of the Division’s monthly performance that informs the Group wide reporting.

  • 6 Month FTC
  • Part Time – 3 days per week
  • Salary £40,000 to £45,000 pro rata
  • Hybrid role

As Management Accountant key responsibilities will include:

  • Complete month end accounting to Trial Balance level for reporting to Group
  • Assist with month end reporting, by ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded, and relevant journals processed
  • Assist with completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior year
  • Analyse client level P&Ls for review with operations and contract managers
  • Project accounting and cashflow
  • Reconciliation and control of intercompany accounts
  • Ongoing WIP analysis and variance investigation
  • Assist with monthly cash flow forecast
  • Assist in budget process
  • Assist with annual Audit requirements (February – April)
  • Support the lead Management Accountant and Financial Accountant, and work alongside Accounts Assistant – along with all other stakeholders – with any month end and adhoc reporting requirements and reconciliations

To be successful as Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

  • The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified Accountant (ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent) – QBE will also be considered
  • Be an experienced Accountant with broad experience
  • A sell-starter with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to be hands-on and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to communicate information across all levels of the business
