Management Accountant

T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a successful manufacturing group who have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team. As Management Accountant, reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be a key player in the finance team and will business partner with the operational side of the business.

As Management Accountant key responsibilities will include:

• Provide support in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
• Monthly Journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Variance Analysis to forecast, budget and prior year.
• Detailed overhead cost review.
• Monthly inventory reconciliation.
• Stock adjustments review.
• Monthly WIP analysis and clearance.
• Liaise with AP and confirm the GRNI.
• Update of standard cost.
• Inventory analysis of materials and finished goods.
• Weekly review of Production Open Output.
• Actively pursue resolution of any system issues.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Liaison with auditors – processing schedules and analysis as required at year end.
• Assist with ½ and year end stock takes.

To be successful as Management Accountant you will have the following skills and attributes:

• 3 years’ experience in a similar Finance role.
• AAT qualified, CIMA or ACCA part qualified.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Previous management accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Good Microsoft office applications knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, analytical and numerical abilities.
• Able to adapt to new systems, work proactively with the systems to efficiently gather data and analyze them.
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts, ability to research, compile, analyse and interpret data.
• Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills.
