T2M Resourcing are recruiting an office-based Sales Administrator / Bookkeeper on behalf of a small but active, rurally based company who market animal health products. An interest in the farming sector would be beneficial but not essential. Full product training will be given.

What will you be doing?

As Sales Administrator / Bookkeeper, key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales invoicing.
  • Input of all transactions relating to sales and purchases.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Produce and submit VAT returns.
  • Credit control.
  • Payment of suppliers.
  • Using SAGE One accounting software.
  • Monthly sales and purchase reports.
  • Monthly update of debtors and creditors.
  • Liaise with accountants and produce detailed file enabling them to prepare year end accounts.
  • Telephone: reception, dealing with enquiries, receiving orders.
  • Order processing – enter in Sage, pick and pack, label, despatch.
  • Stock control and reordering of some of our products.
  • Purchasing of office consumables.
  • Creating Import/Export documentation (both EU and non-EU).
  • Arranging international transport of goods as above.
  • Foreign currency accounts – payments, cashflow and forecasting.
What are we looking for?

To be successful as Sales Administrator / Bookkeeper, you will have the following skills, qualifications and experience: 

The successful candidate will have good, professional communication skills, a sound understanding of double entry book keeping and a friendly and helpful attitude to customers.

  • AAT qualification beneficial
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong organisational & prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
