T2M are exclusively working with a client building one-of-a-kind cloud first solution to help healthcare professionals get the kit they need, when they need it, saving the NHS millions of £££ in the process.

My client are currently expanding their software team that build software supporting, connecting and automating over £10 billion+ in transactions in the UK across supply chain and procurement solutions, cataloguing over 6 million products.

They have a diverse technical environment covering websites, android mobile and cloud, fantastic central offices and a remote first attitude to working.

As SQL DBA key responsibilities will include:

You’ll be joining a small team working on big things. You’ll be working in sprints to develop supply chain and inventory solutions used by a range of NHS trusts, which are effectively data catalogues, connecting and integrating with a variety of 3^rd party supplier databases to power multi location inventories, expiry tracking, automated replenishment and catalogue management.

You’ll have the opportunity to support new customer side integrations, developing and maintaining the database, API integrations, as well as performance tuning and database administration.

You’ll be working closely with the wider development team who will be handling back end and front-end development collaborating on new feature and enhancements.

To be successful as SQL DBA, you will have the following skills and experience:

You’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems with data, comfortable writing SQL queries, creating and optimising stored procedures and working with relational databases in a commercial environment. You’ll probably have experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting slow queries and helping keep systems running reliably as customer demand continues to grow.

The role would suit someone who enjoys variety. One day you might be improving database performance, supporting a new NHS customer integration, the next you could be collaborating with developers on API integrations, data structures or automation improvements.

Any exposure to C# .Net, Web Development RESTful APIs would be beneficial.
