Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant

T2M Resourcing are working with an international client seeking an experienced IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant to support a group restructuring project. Including the disposal several entities. This role will deliver high-quality technical accounting outputs for external audit as part of the program.

• 3 Month Contract
• £500–£600 per day (Inside IR35)
• Hybrid  South-East England

As Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare audit-ready technical accounting papers for disposals and restructuring activities.
• Produce IFRS compliant accounting analyses, journal entries and financial statement disclosures.
• Calculate disposal gains/losses, assess accounting treatments and document key judgements.
• Support external audit requirements with robust, well-documented technical papers.
• Work closely with Group Finance to ensure a smooth handover at project completion.

To be successful as Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant, you will have the following skills and experience:

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong IFRS technical accounting background within large multinational organisations.
• Proven experience of disposal accounting, deconsolidation, M&A transactions and Group restructurings.
• Experienced in preparing technical accounting papers for external audit.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards, particularly IFRS 5, 7, 9, 10 and 12 and IAS 1, 21 and 32.
