Management Accountant

T2M Resourcing are working on behalf of a market leading manufacturing company who have an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team. The company is on a transformation journey (embracing automation and AI within the business support functions) and presents a great opportunity with promotion prospects for a qualified accountant seeking a role where they can make a genuine impact!

• Competitive Salary £50,000 to £55,000
• Hybrid working – 3 days office/2 days WFH
• Location – Worcestershire (easy access from the M5 (junction 3 to Junction 6)

As Management Accountant key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for monthly management accounts and business performance reporting / partnering.
• Developing AI to develop high quality financial analysis and data to support business decisions.
• Standard cost accounting.
• Stock accounting.
• Gross Margin Analysis.
• Raising journals , stock adjustments etc.
• Support the FC and FD with ad-hoc projects.

To be successful as Management Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant.
• Must have previous experience in either the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Costing and Stock accounting experience is essential. 
• High proficiency in Excel with a strong interest in utilising / developing AI.
• Previous management accounting experience.
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to improving financial reporting and business insights.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, analytical and numerical abilities.
• Able to adapt to new systems, work proactively with the systems to efficiently gather data and analyse them.
• Good written, verbal communication.
