Commercial Finance Manager

T2MResourcing are working on behalf of a successful major player in the professional services sector who have an opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.  You will be a key member of the finance team reporting directly to the Head of Finance and manage senior level stakeholders from a commercial finance and controls/processes perspective.

• Location: Central Birmingham ( within easy walking distance of the train stations)
• Competitive salary circa £70,000 + Benefits Package and the genuine opportunity for career progression to a Number 1 finance role going forward.

As Commercial Finance Manager key responsibilities will include: 

• Working alongside the Head of Finance to implement financial controls and processes, FP& A and operational.
• Managing and mentoring a small team.
• Have accountability for the monthly management accounts and related analysis.
• Financial modelling of pipeline of both new and existing business.
• Maintain ledger discipline in accounts platform.

To be successful as Commercial Finance Manager, you will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

• Qualified Accountant -CIMA, ACCA, ACA.
• Ideally you will have experience of working in the professional services sector.
• Proven background of taking ownership and responsibility of deliverables.
• Adept in managing the expectations of senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
• Have the ability to see the bigger picture but can get into the granular detail to gain a greater understanding.
