Financial Controller

T2M are recruiting an exceptional opportunity to join a c£10m turnover autonomous division of an established market leading manufacturing group. Due to advancement, our client is looking for a Financial Controller with hands on SME experience of managing a small team in a manufacturing environment. This fabulous role will require a partnering approach to add value across the wider business.

Salary up to £65,000 base subject to experience, plus bonus.

Responsibilities of a Financial Controller:

• Month end process.
• All statutory reporting and returns.
• Support Budget, business planning and forecasting.
• Review & Approve various workflows daily/weekly.
• Stock take processing and reviewing.
• Quarterly Costing Review.
• Day to day management and development of a small finance team ensuring efficient processes and procedures are place.
• Preparation, review and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports and business insights to allow the leadership team to make key decisions.

Requirements to be successful as a Financial Controller:

• Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAEW.
• Payroll and a full understanding of HMRC requirements.
• Strategic outlook with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with different stakeholder.
• Management / leadership of small team.
• Happy to dig into the detail to ensure continuous improvement of processes within financial department and wider internal control procedures.
