Group Health and Safety Manager

T2M are currently assisting a forward-thinking nationwide critical services contractor, who are currently undergoing rapid growth, to help them to recruit a Group Health and Safety Manager.

As their Group Health and Safety Manager you would be responsible for managing all aspects of health and safety across each of the group’s businesses.

Key Responsibilities as the Group Health and Safety Manager:

• Implement, deliver and champion group wide Health & Safety initiatives.
• Review and update existing risk assessments and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Standardise Health and Safety policies and procedures across each of the group’s businesses.
• Drive change and transformation across the business in Health & Safety.
• Assist in all regulatory and relevant external accreditation’s audits – ensure all information is accurate, effective and available, to support the Compliance Team in audit delivery.

Requirements to be successful as the Group Health and Safety Manager

• Experience as a Health and Safety Manager, delivering advice, assistance and new processes across a business or a group of businesses.
• Passionate and driven to drive improvements across H&S process, policies and practices.
• A relevant professional qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH).
• A willingness to challenge the status quo and never accepting of ‘it’s the way we have always done it’.
• A dynamic personality, capable of presenting and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.

This role will be based from the companies head office in Gillingham and will provide an opportunity to travel across the UK to both client sites and group office locations. A UK Driving License and willingness to travel are therefore essential for this role.

There is a salary of up to £60,000 available depending on experience as well as a company car or car allowance.
