T2M Resourcing are working with a growing technology and manufacturing business to recruit a Principal Software and Controls Engineer to lead motor inverter projects.

  • Competitive Salary.

  • Hybrid 2-3 days a week, Milton Keynes.

What will you be doing?

As Principal Software and Controls Engineer this role will be the driving development and delivery of PMSM or permanent magnet synchronous motor control systems projects for a variety of applications across automotive, aerospace and defence.

You’ll be working closely with the department head to provide technical leadership and support and mentorship the team

What are we looking for?

To be successful as Principal Software and Controls Engineer, you will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Be an accomplished engineer with a focus on motor inverter development and control.
  • Have experience working on project with things like motor physics (torque/flux), control algorithms and developing software control strategies.
